Dian Pelangi Collection: Jakarta Fashion Week 2014
Moslem designer Dian Pelangi again presents a collection of Muslim fashion in a variety of beautiful colors. In the arena of Jakarta Fashion Week some time ago. Jakarta Fashion Week (JFW) opened today as the largest fashion event in the Southeast Asian region presents a larger number of events, many designers and labels who participated fill Muslim fashion show this year. This event has also attracted a larger number of foreign buyers with a number of local brands, especially those under JFW capacity development program, making traction in the global arena. This year JFW will feature 240 designers and labels, 77 performances, 7 international designer, 3000 looks and 350 models. The event was held at Senayan City mall in Jakarta.
“JFW 2014 involves a lot of designers, models and more than 75 fashion shows, thousands of appearances, all showed a significant increase from last year reaffirmed its status as the largest fashion event in the country and the region. We are also pleased to see that some designers who have registered our program has begun to make an international presence, “said committee chairman Svida Alisjahbana JFW 2014.
Opening this year’s Jakarta Fashion Week will feature only Indonesian designers, including those specializing in Moslem. Designers are those that have been incubated under special development program called Indonesian Fashion Forward, which is run by JFW, British Council and the London-based Centre for Fashion Enterprise (CFE).
